Education News ❖ Education needs some leaders! We are in need of 10 individuals that would be willing to lead a Sunday School classroom. Our goal is to have 2 leaders per age group, those leaders can trade off what Sundays work best for them to teach. I would also like at least one helper per grade to assist those teachers. Our classes are anywhere from 8-15 kids so the more help the better Sunday School goes. Even if you are only able to help one Sunday a month or a few Sundays a year, we would love to have you! Please get ahold of Rachelle 940-4496 or emmanuel57004@gmail.com and let me know how you are able to help! ❖ August 18th will be the annual Blessing of the Backpacks. Kids please bring your backpacks to the 9:30am service. ❖ RALLY SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH BEGINNING AT 9:30am IN THE BASEMENT o There will be a quick breakfast and parent meeting. o Information and sign up for FROG and LYO will take place as well as registration for Sunday School. Parents please plan to attend so we can get registration forms done before the start of all education activities! o There will be an informational meeting with 7th & 8th grade families about confirmation following the parent meeting on Rally Sunday. Pastor will go over his expectations and start getting kids signed up for acolyte. o 3 year olds and 3rd Graders will receive bibles on Rally Sunday. If your child is not on the list for receiving a bible or has not received one of these bibles please get ahold of Rachelle and she will make sure your child is added! ❖ Thank you to everyone that volunteer food, money & time for the upcoming Community VBS in the park! ❖ September 11th in the first evening for FROG, Confirmation & SLYO. ❖ September 15th is the first full hour of Sunday School for the year.
