THURSDAY 6th JUNE 2019 to begin at 8.30am in the TopSpec Arena Entry Fee Class No Class Details Prizes (inc VAT) Brood Mare – with own foal at foot A mare with Foal at Foot or a relevant certificate of pregnancy for the following year, which may be inspected at the show. £30, £20, 1 To include SHB(BG) Mare Grading if required (£60). £22 £15, £12 Details will be sent upon request. All horses must be on the SHB(GB) basic ID register to compete. Competitors may compete on a day ticket Foal – produce of mare entered in class one A colt or filly foaled in current year. Competitors may compete on a day ticket The following classes are for young stock likely to make a three day event horse. Sections A and B will run concurrently in the TopSpec Arena. Yearling – born in 2018 A) Colt/gelding B) Filly A colt, gelding or filly, foaled in preceding year. £30, £20, 3 £22 £15, £12 All horses must be on the SHB(GB) basic ID register to compete. Competitors may compete on a day ticket Two Year Old – born in 2017 A) Colt/gelding B) Filly A colt, gelding of filly, foaled two years previously, colts may be allowed at the discretion of the Show £30, £20, 4 £22 £15, £12 All horses must be on the SHB(GB) basic ID register to compete. HUNTER BREEDING CLASSES Hunter Breeding Classes are open to the produce of any Stallion and should not be confined to animals sired by Thoroughbreds. Foals up to three months old may be entered but must subsequently be registered. Foals un-named will be recorded under their dam. Manners will be taken into account in Hunter Breeding classes. a) Brood Mares To be eligible for Hunter Brood Mare classes mares must have foal at foot or a relevant certificate of pregnancy for the following year, which may be inspected at the show. b) Foals To be eligible to enter Hunter Foal classes the foal must be at least three weeks old on the day of the show. c) Brood Mare Premiums The Society offers Brood Mare Premiums at selected affiliated shows, but premiums will only beawarded if there are a minimum of three mares forward per class. The premium takes the form of a Service Voucher, the value of £100, awarded at the Judge’s discretion to their selection from the monetary prize winners, to be used towards the cost of covering the mare by any SHB (GB) Graded Stallion or Life Approved Premium Stallion that is properly registered for the year of covering. The Service Voucher may be used in either of the two years following the year of that award. The owner must be, or become, a fully paid up member of SHB(GB)in order to be eligible for the award. No mare shall take more than one award per year. NOTE: Grade I and II mares are eligible to be transferred into the SHB(GB) Stud Book. d) Leader The Leader who enters the ring with the horse must remain throughout the class. Only in special circumstances and with the permission of the judge may another person be permitted to trot the horse out. Competitors may compete on a day ticket and may have a maximum of two day tickets per season. Each day ticket is valid for one show and it covers owner and rider membership together with horse registration/overstamp for that show. If the class is a qualifying class for RIHS in order for the qualification to be valid, application for full owner/rider membership and horse registration/overstamp must be received in the SHB(GB) office within 14 days. Classes 1-5 are Qualifying classes for the SHB(GB) BREEDERS CUP The winner of every SHB(GB) affiliated in hand class – Hunter Breeding, Light Horse Breeding and In Hand Sport Horses - held at shows prior to the 2019 Hunter Show will qualify for The SHB(GB) Breeders Cup Championship to be held at the 2019 National Hunter Supreme Championship Show at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre on 1st & 3rd July 2019. The winner of the Championship at The National Hunter Supreme Championship Show will receive £1000 (£500 to the Breeder and £500 to the Owner). Entries: Open online on 1st March 2019 at www.equoevents.com Postal entries will also be accepted. Cheques to be made payable to ‘Bramham Horse Trials LLP’. Entries for the above classes will only be accepted if full breeding details are declared on the entry form. Closing date for entries is 8thMay 2019. Times: Class 1 and 2 begin at 8.30am in the TopSpec Arena. Please note that in classes 3-6, the ‘A’ and ‘B’ sections run in the arena at the same time. Admission: E-tickets will be used again this year for both vehicles and people. All e-tickets will be scanned upon entry to the event; please do not forget them as entry cannot be permitted without a valid e-ticket. Tickets can only be scanned once. Any vehicle or person without an e-ticket will be charged the full on-gate price. Refunds and Withdrawals: A 50% refund of entry fees will be granted at the Organiser’s discretion upon presentation of a valid vet’s certificate. Any withdrawal resulting in a refund will result in all complementary e-tickets being cancelled. Conditions: The Organiser retains the right to refuse entry and to amend details of the schedule without prior warning. Location: Use the post code LS23 6NB. Vaccinations: Please note all horses (except foals) must have a valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. This must be produced if requested by Officials. The Organisers advise that due to uneven and in parts, steep terrain of the event site, it may be at times difficult for spectators to move around freely and easily. As a result of which it may not be suitable for those who suffer certain medical conditions. All spectators enter the event at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear. The Organisers reserve the right to vary the content of the event without being obliged to refund monies, or exchange tickets. Further the Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the event to any person or to withdraw permission at any time to remain in the grounds, and shall not be required to give any reason for such action.
