Admission for Boarding • The boarding admissions process for Years 7 and 9 is the same, and the entrance exams are both age-appropriate. • Deadline for applications – 31st October 2019 • Examination – 16th November 2019 • Interview after examination, for boarding suitability only (not a selection process)

11+ Admissions, for 2020 entry • Entry to Cranbrook School at Year 7 will be by means of the Kent Test – dates set for 12th and 14th September 2019. • Results sent to parents 17th October 2019. • Applications can be made online at www.kent.gov.uk/ola or via the Kent Secondary Common Application Form by 31st October 2019 for 2020 entry. • Offer day is 1st March 2020 for 2020 entry. • 60 Year 7 students will be admitted in September 2020. • Applicants to be ranked by the over-subscription criteria as per Admissions Policy. 13+ Day and 11+/13+ Boarding Admissions, for 2020 entry • Entry to Cranbrook School at Year 9 (and Year 7 boarding) will be by means of the Cranbrook School Objective Test (a CAT test) – dates set for Saturday16th November 2019. • Outcomes sent to parents 18th December 2019 (boarders receive offers). • Applications are made via www.cranbrookschool.co.uk/admissions • Offer day (day applicants only) is 1st March 2020 for 2020 entry. • 38 day/52 boarding Year 9 students and up to 6 Year 7 boarding students will be admitted in September 2020. • The application window for the 13+ (and Year 7 boarding) = 1st September to 31st October 2019 for September 2020 entry.
