2017-2018 PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES The Fredericton Playhouse offers a range of corporate partnership opportunities to suit your business needs, sponsorship objectives and budget. We offer sponsorship opportunities for our flagship Spotlight Series, partnerships in support of our major fundraising event, the Backstage Bash, as well as involvement in events such as The Playhouse Honours, a program that celebrates individuals who contribute to the performing arts in Fredericton. We also have opportunities available through programs such as Dining Partners, the Arts are for Everyone and School Field Trips, as well as various advertising opportunities. The Fredericton Playhouse Spotlight Series features professional performances in music, theatre, and dance from a wide range of different genres. Consisting of world-class performers, the Spotlight Series features some of the most exciting artists touring today, including powerful vocalists, internationally acclaimed musical ensembles, innovative dance performances, inspirational theatre pieces, family-oriented shows, hilarious comedy and more. SEASON PARTNER All Performances Investment: $12,000 • Industry exclusivity among Season Partners • Recognition on all marketing materials including season guide (distribution 23,000), house programs, posters, flyers, tickets and website • Logo/mention on media advertising pertaining to partnered Spotlight shows • Logo recognition on website (www.theplayhouse.ca), providing a direct link to your website • Recognition in electronic newsletter (22,000-plus subscribers and growing) • Partner name recognition on tickets to all Spotlight Series performances • Recognition at Season Launch event in June • Recognition from the stage at each Spotlight Series performance • Logo recognition on electronic screen at entrance to all Spotlight Series performances • Mention on social media (Facebook and Twitter) in relation to partnership (11,000-plus followers and growing) • Support of any sponsor-initiated social media activity in relation to partnered performances • Opportunity to host special reception before or after a Spotlight performance where Playhouse executive director will publicly thank the partner for their support (performers may be invited to the reception as well) • Onsite display/table in lobby during partnered performances (on availability) • Opportunity to welcome the audience from the stage at a Spotlight performance (on availability) • Full-page full colour ad in the Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring house programs (distribution 8,000-plus) • Four (4) complimentary admissions for every 2017-2018 Spotlight Series performance • Twenty (20) ticket vouchers to be exchanged for any 2017-2018 Spotlight Series performance (excluding Broadway and Special Presentations) • Opportunity to purchase additional tickets for all Spotlight Series shows at a 20 per cent discount

The Backstage Bash is the only annual fundraising event held each year by the Fredericton Playhouse with proceeds supporting our education and outreach programming. These programs include our School Field Trips program, in which children have the opportunity to participate in a field trip to the Fredericton Playhouse and experience the magic of live performance. Funds also support our Arts are for Everyone program, through which complimentary tickets are provided to many in the community who face barriers to participation. What sets the Backstage Bash apart from other fundraisers is the incredible setting. For this special fundraising event, we flip everything around – rather than sitting quietly in their seats, we invite guests to join us backstage for an unforgettable evening. Performing from a specially constructed stage placed over the seats of the Playhouse, the band sets the mood for a night of phenomenal entertainment, food and drinks! PLAYHOUSE DINING PARTNER Investment: $750 Each year, more than 65,000 people visit the Fredericton Playhouse to attend a performance. When making plans for their night out, many of those individuals include a visit to a downtown establishment for dinner or a drink in their agenda. As a Playhouse Dining Partner you can gain an advantage in encouraging Playhouse patrons to visit your location with our unique package of benefits: • Promotion as a Dining Partner during our peak venue usage, from September to June • Recognized as a Dining Partner in the Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring house programs (distribution 8,000-plus) • Included in Dining Partners ticket wallet coupon booklet from September to June (up to 1,000 inserts distributed per month with tickets picked up at the Playhouse box office) • Recognition on Fredericton Playhouse website (www.theplayhouse.ca) with a direct link to your website • Minimum of six (6) mentions on Twitter in relation to your Playhouse partnership • Support of any partner-initiated social media activity in relation to Fredericton Playhouse performances • Minimum of six (6) mentions on Facebook in relation to your Playhouse partnership • Minimum of two (2) mentions in the Fredericton Playhouse electronic newsletter (22,000-plus subscribers and growing) • Two complimentary admissions to a Spotlight Series performance
ADDITIONAL PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Playhouse Honours Each year, the Board of Directors of the Fredericton Playhouse presents The Playhouse Honours. This recognition honours an individual’ s involvement in the performing arts in Fredericton, fostering a deeper appreciation of the value that people can make to community life through their work in music, theatre, dance, spoken word, and multidisciplinary performing arts. A permanent display in the west gallery of the Playhouse recognizes the honourees. Arts are for Everyone The Fredericton Playhouse believes the arts are an integral part of our lives, and that everyone has the right to access and experience the magical world of the performing arts. We believe it is essential that we continue to develop our stage and programs so everyone in our community will think of the Playhouse as a place where they are welcome. Through this program, we provide complimentary tickets to those in our community facing barriers to participation. School Field Trips The Fredericton Playhouse offers a series of school matinée field trips each season designed to expose students to the magic of live, professional performing arts. This program offers performances for students in grades K-12 in theatre, music and dance. Experience More! Our Experience More! program is a series of innovative workshops and activities that take place in conjunction with the Fredericton Playhouse Spotlight Series. Advertising Opportunities We offer a number of opportunities for businesses to enhance their profile by advertising with the Fredericton Playhouse during the year, most notably through ads in our Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring house programs, and through ticket wallet inserts.
