“Only a Doctor is blessed with the magical powers to treat life,to bring health into our lives and to be there with us when we have lost all the hope.” National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1 all across India to honour the legendary physicians. This day is dedicated to all medical professionals who work and serve patients round the clock to save lives. Our School also celebrated National Doctor’s Day to pay tribute to all medical practitioners as this year is special for their ethical and relentless service to the humanity. Teachers explained the students about importance of health and hygiene and the role played by the Doctor’s in our society. Students of Primary demonstrated their talent and expressed heartfelt gratitude to doctors through beautifully “Chart Making” designed cards and Higher grade students also were involved in various activities like “Speeches” “Poems” “Role Play” where they were encouraged to speak about tools and things commonly used by the Doctors. The activities enhanced the understanding, vocabulary , speaking skills and also inculcated moral values in them. World Hepatitis Day is a day for the world’s hepatitis community to unite and make our voices heard. It’s a day to celebrate the progress we have made and to meet the current challenges. It’s also an opportunity for us to increase awareness and encourage a real political change to jointly facilitate prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Our School also celebrated 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' to remember India's war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country. The Special Assembly was conducted on Cyber Safety where students of higher gave a brief introduction on various terminologies like hacking, fishing, cloning, data theft and grooming. It was followed by many activities like Monologue and a student from grade X explained about cyber bullying. Students were advised to handle real and virtual life judiciously. In view of the fact that, all the students immensely participated with curi osity and inquisitiveness in all the activities. All the students participated enthusiastically and zealously.
Guru Pournima Date: 23/07/21 Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” The teacher imparts education hence the role of the teacher is of paramount importance both in the present and future of a student. To honor the teachers, a function was organized in the school on the occasion of Guru Purnima. The initiative for the arrangements of the function was taken by the Cultural department of our school. Where our principal Ma‟am Mrs Anagha Gholap lighted the lamp in the remembrance of Adi Guru Ved Vyas. Later, in the special assembly – students participated in different activities virtually like reciting shlokas, rendered soulful songs, speeches which were dedicated to teachers. Few students from primary grade dressed up like Ved Vyas and prepared greeting cards for the teachers. The function concluded with gaiety all around.
Special Assembly World Hepatitis Day Date: Std VI to VIII 23/07/21 World Hepatitis Day is a day for the world’s hepatitis community to unite and make our voices heard. Students of primary and higher grade were involved in various activities like making charts, slogans, speech which helped to increase the awareness about Hepatitis. All the students participated enthusiastically and zealously.

World Population Day Date: 10/07/21 The school organised a Literary week to encourage students understanding and love for literature, improve written and spoken expression and to inculcate the habit of reading in the students. To make the experience attractive and enjoyable for the new generation, a series of activities including Chart Making on favourite Author, speech were organised. It was a week of flurry and excitement, with the children being fruitfully engaged and getting exposure to literature in different ways from the modern to the old authors. Overall, the Literary Week brought the students closer to the magic of language and literature.
Know the Author Date: 19/07/21 It is well said that - “It is very easy to add, but difficult to maintain. Hence small family is a happy family.” The World Population Day was celebrated by the students of High School with great enthusiasm. It was a movement, order to raise awareness about global population issues. The main objective of this program was to make students understand that „ Excess of anything is bad‟. It applies to everything including population. Regarding this various activities were conducted such as poster making, speech and so on which gave message on population hazards.
Elocution Date: 24/07/21 “Admiration comes easy to a person who is endowed with the fine art of public speaking, who adorns common thoughts with the grace of, elocution, and the elegance of style.” The school organized Elocution for higher grade where teachers conducted virtually by declaring the topic 5min before the class hour. The topics on different issues were shared like Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, Cyber Safety and so on. All the children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and it was a treat to hear them. The participants were praised by one and all present there. The competition ended on a happy note and the discipline of the students was commendable even virtually. Children actively participated in the virtual celebration and thanked all the medical practitioners who are working tirelessly for the humanity.
