Enrichment Week, Year 7-9, 15th – 19th July 2019
 As well as excellent academic achievement, enrichment is a
 vital part of developing life-long skills in children. Now more than
 ever, developing a thriving enrichment programme is an
 essential part of promoting employability, academic attainment
 and teaching young people the skills they need to make good
 choices. These skills have benefits well beyond the classroom.

 During enrichment week for 2019 on Monday 15th July we will
 have our annual Sports Day and students should wear PE kit.
 Tuesday students will have a career focused world of work
 themed day. Wednesday will be our ‘enrichment day’ in which
 this booklet details the choices available for students. Thursday
 will be the tutor challenge day in which students will complete a
 series of challenges with their tutor teams.

It is important to discuss this fully with your child as some have slightly
different arrival times back to school and have a cost attached. At this
stage the costings are approximate because it depends on the number
of students who opt for the activities. It is important your child hands their
slip into the office by 9th February 2019 otherwise they will be placed into
a cost free activity in school.

By 20th March 2019 students will find out their assigned option choices.
Full payment is due by 1st May 2019. If payment isn’t received by this
date, your child will be moved onto a no cost activity instead.
