Thomas Russell Infants’ School ‘Our children blossom through nurture and challenge’ Newsletter number 13 4.12. 2020 A Wizard morning! We were whisked off to the land of Oz on Monday morning, when M&M Theatre Productions put on a fantastic show in the school hall. It was so lovely to see the children’s excitement during the performance and it felt like a little bit of normality in the lead-up to Christmas. It was such a shame that Reception weren’t able to see it ‘live’, but hopefully the live-streaming meant that they could join in the fun—and allow parents to watch as well! Once again, a massive thank you to TRISPTA, who funded this special treat and to all of you who have contributed to fund-raising through this term. Drinks in school Please can we remind you that we can only allow plain water in drinks bottles brought into school. We have noticed that a few children are now bringing in juice or squash, which creates a sticky mess if accidentally spilt (which happens quite a lot!). Water is also the healthier option so we appreciate your support in encouraging the children to have water in their bottles. Thank you.
