At the end of the volume there is included a transcript of a question- "Homero Aridjis is widely regarded as and-answer session held at Mexico’s greatest living poet. His work Swedenborg House in London in 2011, has been translated into numerous in which the author discusses his languages, and he has received critical interest in Swedenborg, the inspiration praise from artists and writers such as behind his poetry, his groundbreaking Luis Buñuel, Yves Bonnefoy, Octavio environmental activism, and also his Paz and Jorge Luis Borges. Rare "Christmas Star" visible on the Winter Solstice "And having heard the King, they went their way; and lo, the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them, until it came and stood over where the Child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And they came into the house and saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshipped Him; and opening their treasures they presented to Him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.'" Matt. 2:9-11 There are many theories as to what exactly the Christmas Star was: Comet? Supernova? Eclipse? The planet Jupiter? The Shekinah Glory(physical manifestation of God as a bright light)? A spaceship? Or maybe a planetary conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn? We may never know for sure, but we can view a planetary conjunction this Winter Solstice, December 21st one hour after sunset in the southwest. This conjunction happens every 20 years but is not always viewable. This one is the closest to Earth since Medieval times and won't be visible again until 2080. If you want to see it, find a good spot to view the horizon just after sunset. Jupiter and Saturn will appear to be one bright object in the sky. Apparently if you have a telescope you can see Saturn's rings, Jupiter's bands and maybe several of the moons. It also will be visible to the naked eye, let's hope the weather cooperates. No worries, the planets are still millions of miles apart, risk of a collision is zero. Their separate orbits happen to line them up on this special evening. Happy stargazing and Merry Christmas!
