      MESSAGE FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
Night of Champions Honors Cole Morgan
  This past Friday (1/27) Cole Morgan, Tri-West Junior,
  was one of four finalists for 'Play of the Year' as part of
  the Night of Champions event at the Colts Complex.

  example of our school as a three-sport athlete
  (football, basketball, and track). Being a multi-sport
  athlete is critical in a school our size. Not only is it a
  benefit to our school, it is a benefit to our athletes.
  Professional baseball player,Scott Rolen, says "Multiple
  sports made me much better mentally, physically and
  athletically." In short- playing multiple sports makes
  you better, makes your teams better, and makes our
  school more competitive across all sports.
  Congratulations to Cole on this honor and for
  representing our school in such a positive light.
2nd College Signing Ceremony
  The 2nd College Signing Ceremony will take place Wednesday, February 1st at 4:30 PM in
  the Tri-West High School Cafeteria. Please come out and support these athletes at this
  special event. See details below.

  the lookout for team call-out information. Stop by the Athletic Office if
  you have questions. Be sure to have your physical on file prior to these
  start dates to ensure your eligibility to practice.

  Wrestling tied for 7th IHSAA Sectional; Individual Place
  Winners: Brock Wasson (106) 3rd place, Tyler Halford (160)
  5th place, Nick Johnson (182) 5th place, Spencer Watson (220)
  1st Place Sectional Champion, and Peyton Hays (285) 6th
  place
  Girls C-Team Basketball played in the Chatard Tournament,
  losing to Bishop Chatard, 19-40, and Indianapolis Cathedral,

  Boys JV Basketball defeated Greencastle, 59-25
  Boys Varsity Basketball defeated Greencastle, 62-43

              BRUINS IN THE COMMUNITY

cream shop. Another multi-sport

                                      defeating Greencastle.

Congratulations to our Wrestlers that placed in the IHSAA Sectional:
  Brock Wasson (106) 3rd place, Tyler Halford (160) 5th place, Nick
 Johnson (182) 5th place, Spencer Watson (220) 1st Place Sectional
  Champion, and Peyton Hays (285) 6th place. Brock Wasson and
       Spencer Watson will advance to the IHSAA Regional.
