5th March 2021 World Book Day – Thursday 4th March A huge well done to all of our children and families for embracing our remote World Book Day this year. The children at Key Worker school set the tone for the day with their fantastic and imaginative costumes and were joined by many children at home, also in costume. One of our Year 6 girls even manged three costume changes during our afternoon Google Meet. The theme this year was reading, talking about reading and sharing stories. We hope the children enjoyed listening to the staff videos and engaging in the live sessions. The £1 book tokens are with class teachers and will be distributed next week. Please keep them safe until the bookshops reopen on April 12 th . Please see below photographs of the titles included this year which were kindly donated by Pickled Pepper Books on Middle Lane. Most bookshops will have a selec- tion of the books in stock and the tokens will be valid throughout April. Ms Fulton
