NOTICE OF ELECTIONS 2020-2022
Dear IAGES Members,

Nomina ons are invited from eligible members for the post of
President Elect for the year 2020, Honorary Secretary, Honorary
Treasurer, Zonal Vice Presidents and Zonal Execu ve Commi ee
members for the year 2020-2022. The elec on shall be conducted
electronically (E-vo ng). The members are requested to go through the
general rules of elec on process and nomina ons carefully for sending
nomina ons and I also request all members to read instruc ons for e-
vo ng. Hoping that all members shall cast their valuable vote to elect a
democra c execu ve body and leaders.
ELECTION SCHEDULE
u Call for nomina ons: 15th September 2019 by post.
u Last date of receiving nomina ons : 31st October 2019 ll 5PM by
registered post/courier.
u Last date of withdrawal of nomina on : 15th November 2019 ll
5PM by le er or email to elec on officer Dr Ramen Goel at
ramengoel@gmail.com
u e-vo ng starts from: 1st December 2019 at 9.00am
u e-vo ng ends on : 05th February 2020 at 5PM
u Declara on of online results on : 6th February 2020 at 6.00pm
u Nomina ons to be sent to the Elec on Officer at the following

u No life member shall be eligible to be elected for any posi on of
Execu ve Commi ee unless he/she has completed 4 years of life
st
membership on the date of announcement of the elec ons.(1
September 2019)
u Associated members, Post Graduate members, Overseas
members and Honorary members are not eligible for contes ng
in elec ons, nomina ng and vo ng.
u The proposer and seconder for the nomina on must be a life
member of IAGES of more than 4 years dura on.(on 1 st
September 2019)
u Nomina on papers will be scru nized by the President Elect and
if there is any discrepancy, he will report it to the President IAGES
for further ac on.
u Elec on will be conducted when there are more nomina ons
than the number of posts.
u No member shall be eligible to be elected as a President Elect,
unless he/she has served either as Hon Secretary , Hon treasurer
or a Zonal Vice president for a period of one term(2 years).
u No member shall be eligible to be elected as Hon Secretary, Hon
Treasurer or a Zonal Vice President unless he/she has served as
an Execu ve Commi ee member for a period of one term (2
years) and more.
u Postal delay of non receipt of nomina on form is not the
responsibility of elec on officer.
u Nomina on can be sent by Registered post, Speed post or
Courier.
u In case of e, President will cast his vote.
u Canvassing by candidates through le er, email, messaging etc is
not permi ed. Any viola on may invite disciplinary ac on

The eligibility of vo ng is only for those who have become IAGES life
member ll 31st August 2019, as per records provided by Hon Secretary,
IAGES.
E-Vo ng Details
The vo ng lines would be available online from 1st December 2019 -
9.00 am to 5th Feb 2020 - 5.00 pm at h ps://iages.evote.co.in
a) Enter the following once you click on the link:
Membership number (you will be sent the membership number
by SMS & Email)
Mobile number
email address
registered with IAGES for genera on of ONE TIME PASWORD
(OTP) for valida on.
b) Then enter the OTP which you will receive via SMS/ Email.
c) Also enter the CAPTCHA
d) You should thoroughly get acquainted with your desired
candidate name by going through the "CANDIDATE DETAILS" for a
fair elec on
e) Then cast your vote for the candidate of your choice.
f) Selec on of candidates will be based on the number of
candidates men oned and posts available in each zone.
g) You can cast your vote only once.
h) Only 1 vote can be cast from an IP address.
i) I request all our Honorable members to cast their valuable votes
