Option Living
Does your child sometimes feel like a misfit---doesn't like school and feels
he or she can't do anything right? If so, option living is what is needed.
Option living means there are no roadblocks in life. No dead ends. No fail-
ures. Only possibilities. If things aren't going well, don't let your child get
sucked into the quicksand of overwhelming competition. Your child is
unique. Not everyone has to be tops in school, or be a concert violinist.
Don't force your ideals on your child. Look for other options that may better
suit your child's God-given talents. Why do we think every child has to take
piano lessons or play in Little League or grow up to be a doctor, lawyer, or
scientist? And why is it, when he or she fails, we think the world has ended,
instead of accepting this as an indication that the search for possibilities is
still in progress? Your child is special. Make sure he or she has enough op-
tions to keep feeling that way!
"Is anything too hard for the Lord" - Genesis 18 :14, NKJV
 - Power Tips for Parents, p 18

PARENT(S)’S RESPONSIBILITY: Parent(s), you are responsible for your
child(ren) at all times. A child or children under 14 years MUST BE ac-
companied by an adult to the restroom, at snack time, and during lunch
break. Your child(ren) MUST BE in your company at all times.

MEN’S CORNER
Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens
          the countenance of his friend.”

There is satisfaction in being there for someone as a friend. Not
only does bonding occurs but the person’s is uplifted in Christ, it
helps the person to be accountable, it makes the person feel bet-
ter, and able to handle problems. Men especially needs to be
there for each other, because most men tends to keep things bot-
tled up and not wanting to talk. Whereas, women will share with each other,
and help each other to overcome problems. If you know of someone you
could reach out to, please do so today.
