There is something for everyone at this year’s College – quartets, choruses, directors and budding directors are all catered for, or if you just want to attend as an individual and attend lectures and workshops, the Personal Development Stream is perfect. Added to that, we are delighted to bring back the Youth Chorus stream this year, for male singers aged 25 and under. The BABS & LABBS faculty on the Personal Development Stream is augmented by none other than barbershop guru David Wright, and one of the finest voices in barbershop, Eric Dalbey. So, if up-close and hands-on workshops and lectures are your thing, then this stream is the one for you. Further details about the stream will be made available shortly. The Youth Chorus Stream is being headlined by the very talented Trailblazers quartet, and supported by the members of Vocal Spectrum. Simon Arnott has arranged a song especially for the occasion – Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’. We have also made the Youth Chorus Stream as cheap and accessible as possible by making it a Saturday-only stream. So you can spend a day learning from Trailblazers and Vocal Spectrum with like-minded youngsters, eat some delicious food, sing on an exciting show in the evening, see Vocal Spectrum headline the show, sing tags until way past bed-time, and then crash out on a comfy bed yards away from the party, all for £80, or £45 if you choose not to stay over.
