Tekfor A global partner for the automotive industry, the Neumayer Tekfor Group develops products for transmissions, engines, driveline, fasteners and special applications. Weight and friction reduction lie at the heart of our development work. In this way we are making a substantial contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions. From 2008 Tekfor Italian Plants (Avigliana and Villarperosa) started a program to optimize their industrial assets utilization and management. At first setting up an Asset Management System based on the Infor EAM Platform . and then integrating IoT and Energy saving technologies based on the Advantech WebAccess Platform.

2015 Tekfor in cooperation with Net Surfing started the
«MEA» project: Machine Electronic Assistance
Acquisition and monitoring of Energy Consumption data
Acquisition of production data from each equipment / machine (from PLC and
dedicated counters)
Acquisition of physical parameters: temperatures, pressures, flows, vibrations, ….
Goal of the project:
correlate at machine / equipment level:
working time / production / consumptions / faults
