ACADEMIC CALENDAR 2020/21 ARRIVAL AND ORIENTATION Michaelmas Term dates Michaelmas Starters 2nd October – 11th December 2020 Students are asked to arrive no later Exams at the start of January 2021 than Sunday 27th September 2020 Lent Term dates Attendance is required at orientation events that will take place throughout the week 8th January – 19th March 2021 28th September – 2nd October. How to Apply STEP ONE: NOMINATION Students must first be nominated via email (exchangelums@lancaster.ac.uk) by their home institution. Nominations must include: + Name + Nationality + Email address + Term (Michaelmas or Lent) the student is attending LUMS + Number of ECTS credits the student needs + A Nomination Letter from the international coordinator + Degree and modules studied in home institution + Degree proposed at Lancaster STEP TWO: ONLINE APPLICATION Students will be sent an email after their nomination which will detail how to apply and the next steps in the process.
