Pope Campus Book Information Last updated September 14, 2009 Hours of operation for CU @ Pope AFB Office Monday thru Thursday 0830 – 1630 Fridays 0830 – 1500 Schedule is subject to change without notice. LOANER program… Is no longer available at the Pope AFB. However, Campbell University has donated all previous loaner books (shown below) to the Pope AFB Library, located across the parking lot adjacent to the Thrift Store. The phone number to the Pope AFB Library is 394-2195 or DSN 424-2195, hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday, 0930 – 2000, Friday 0930 – 1900 and Saturday 1000 – 1730. Go to www.campbell.edu and click on the Bookstore link in the top right hand corner. If your course is in the classroom and it is not a loaner listed above you will also need to purchase your textbook from the web site previously mentioned. Further instructions are given in this booklet for ordering. Do I have to buy my textbook from the Pope Bookstore? As a Campbell student you are never obligated to purchase your textbooks from us. You are free to purchase a book from any other source you so choose. However, it is your responsibility to ensure you are buying the correct book for your class. What about Book Returns? Since book purchases are through the Main Campus Bookstore you will need to return your textbook to their office. Please coordinate with them the best method of return. (910) 893-1452 Do you buy back used textbooks? The Pope Campus Bookstore does not buy back textbooks. The Main Campus Bookstore will purchase used textbooks from students during any semester providing it is a current edition Campbell University is using. ORDERING BOOKS ONLINE You may purchase your books using a credit card or with funds from your student account (financial aid). If you are using a student account you will first need to transfer money. Go to www.campbell.edu. Select Administration and then select Business Office. Go to Forms. Select Transfer of funds PDF. Print out the form, fill in your info, and fax it to the number listed on the form. They will initiate transfer of funds to the Bookstore. 1. Go to the web page: www.campbell.edu 2. Scroll down until you see this box. 4. Using the drop down menus, choose your correct term, class type, class #, & section #. Make sure you choose the correct option for block 1. If your course is actually in a Main Campus classroom pick “Main Campus”. If you are taking an internet course choose “Main Campus.” If you are taking them on Pope / Ft. Bragg please pick “extended”. Then click the “continue” button. 5. The next screen that comes up lists the options you selected. Click the button “View Textbook list”. 6. Here is the book title, author, edition, publisher, and prices both new / used. From this point you may choose to add them to your cart. 7. 8. You can register and create a log in OR you may log in as a guest. 9. Shipping Costs Standard charges $6.95 for one book and $1.95 each for any additional books Next day shipping $ 16.95 for one book and $ 1.95 each for any additional books Note during Fall I and Spring I terms there is a 48 hour processing time for all online book orders. You can choose “store pickup”. Then you’ll need to tell it the campus you will pickup your books from the drop down menu. Or you can select “shipping” in which case you’ll need to pick an address from the menu. Then decide the method. 10. Fill in your payment method, I.E. credit card info or student account info. Like this: 12345vocrehab. This way you are not charged tax. If you are unsure which type of VA student category you are please contact your counselor BEFORE purchasing books.
