Course Description Come join us for an interactive session on A3 Thinking. Our event will have a combination of presentation on A3 Thinking, what an A3 is and what it is not, and also some interactive exercises around A3s and the various uses they can support. We will also get you started in utilizing A3s as a problem solving process and tool for both project or internal organization problems.
Learning Objectives At the end of the this course, participants will be able to: 1. At the end of this presentation, participants will understand and be able to explain the elements of A3 thinking and describe the benefits of utilizing an A3. 2. At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to effectively utilize the elements of A3 thinking during all problem solving opportunities. 3. At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to utilize the A3 report as a communication tool. 4. At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to explain when A3 reports should be completed.

Example Problem Statement We received more customer complaints in August than normal. OR In August the system was down 16 hours more than the normal monthly average of 26 hours, reducing user access and increasing customer complaints.
