Army Apprenticeships Webinar event Friday 12th February 2021, 11.30am – 12.30am Get an insight into apprenticeships with the British Army and find out what it means to do an apprenticeship as a soldier. 98% of new soldiers enrol on an apprenticeship. Work experience

If you would like to get some virtual work experience
while you are at home, there are opportunities
available with Speakers for Schools.
You will get to speak to current apprentices and
graduates about their jobs, take part in interactive
sessions and learn new skills.
Here are just a few examples of the placements coming
up. There are many more on the website:

Day (Construction): 8th March 2021 (for age 14+)
• East West Railway Company - Building a New
Railway (Technology, Engineering and Customer
Services): 6th - 9th April 2021 (for age 16+)
• Green Skills in the Construction and Engineering
Industry (Architecture): 6th - 9th April 2021 (for age 14+)

Vacancy: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Early Years
Dates: to start in September 2021
Details: You will assist in delivering a high level of quality
childcare and will build effective relationships with
children, parents and staff. Applicants should be
enthusiastic and proactive. You will work alongside
Apprenticeship qualified staff and be assigned a mentor to provide you
vacancies with support. You will also be involved in planning
stimulating activities for the children in your care.

Vacancy: Apprenticeships in Electrical Maintenance and
Mechanical Maintenance
Start Date: September 2021
Closing Date: 28th May 2021.
Details: Applicants are expected the achieve a minimum of five
GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths, Science and English.
Apprenticeship You should be an enthusiastic team member with excellent
communication skills and the ability to use your own initiate. You
vacancies should also have a natural interest and aptitude for mechanical
and electrical engineering.
