The Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias (FCT), of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, continue to be the preferred universities for Engineering, courses in which there is a high percentage of employability. Of the students who entered Engineering, 43% joined FCT and 36% at IST. The IT area was the most sought after. This is an area which is in the zero-unemployment ranking. Finding a university with a high employability rate remains one of our students' main concerns. Among the public universities, those with more courses without unemployment are the University of Lisbon, which includes the Instituto Superior Técnico, with courses in Engineering and Architecture. In the Faculty of Sciences, of the University of Lisbon, the mathematics courses integrated the zero-unemployment ranking. And, of course, the integrated Masters in Medicine. The Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a private institution, offers courses with full employment, and is sought after by many of our students, not only in the field of Business Administration and Management (International and National degrees), but also in Law and Social Communication. UNIVERSITIES with the highest number of entries 26% 23% 9% Universidade de Lisboa Universidade Nova de Lisboa Universidade Católica de Lisboa The ambition to study abroad has also always been an option for our students. However, the quality of our further education establishments together with the instability caused by the pandemic, meant that some chose to postpone this project. Nevertheless, some students are now studying in the United Kingdom, at the University of the Arts; Imperial College; Lancaster University; and at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Netherlands. In the International Curriculum, students who completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program are also to be congratulated for their extraordinary determination and remarkable performance in an atypical year, which had an enormous impact on their IB course. With an average of results which is 2 points above the world average (32 points), and a maximum score of 43 points (out of 45), they exceeded their expectations. The result of this effort is also seen in their entries into Higher Education, at Universities located in several different countries, according to each student’s options. 71% of our IB students gained entry into universities abroad, including the United Kingdom: University of Bristol, King's College London, Lancaster University, University of Leicester, Coventry University London and University of the Arts London; in France: Sciences Po, Paris, Neoma Business School; in Italy, John Cabot University; in the Netherlands, Erasmus University Rotterdam, TU Eindhoven, University College Roosevelt; in Spain, Harbour Space University. Our students' options include Space Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, Management, Hospitality, Economics, UNITED KINGDOM Marketing, Languages, Literature and Culture, Law, Psychology, Number of entries: 8 Political Science, Technology and Creativity, Animation and Media.
