WORLD WATER WEEK Stockholm, 2019 SESSION: JOIN THE YOUTH FOR THE WORLD WATER FORUM "DAKAR 2021" Outcomes of the World Water Forum’s kick off meeting Prsented by: Dr. Fatimatou Sall, President of AJPEAS
I. PURPOSE OF THE KICK OFF MEETING Prefigure the content, activities and expected outcomes of the Forum structured around the four priorities. Providing direction for a successful event in March 2021, Official start of the pre-Forum phase and aims to make a valuable contribution to the design of the 9th World Water Forum Preparatory process for the next two years.

YOUTH RELATED OUTCOMES Involvement of young people in the international steering committee of the 9th World Water Forum and scientific committee as reporter Participation of students from different universities and youth associations in Senegal Call to action for youth Request for the inclusion of young people in the process A representation of different youth associations from different regions Youth met in advance to discuss about contribution of youth to the process in road to Dakar 2021 Setting up a youth steering comittee Validation of the youth strategy
