Graduate Degree Programs Orientation Week Schedule September 4th – 15th, 2018 ORIENTATION WEEK –GRADUATE DEGREE SEPTEMBER 2018
Objectives of Orientation Week Orientation week is designed to ease your transition to École Polytechnique. Participants attend information sessions and events in order to become better acquainted with École Polytechnique. Participating in orientation is a great way to reduce enrollment stress, meet your new classmates, and to start to feel at home in your new environment. The objectives of orientation week are: To introduce you to administrative and student services and provide you with comprehensive information about available resources and key contacts. To help you complete all necessary check-ins with less stress before the start of classes. To have all your questions answered. To facilitate initial academic advisement, course selection, and registration. To help you familiarize with the campus environment and physical facilities. To give you the opportunity to meet with your new classmates in a welcoming environment and help you connect to faculty, staff and other students. For international students, to complete immigration process and get advice on how to adjust to France and the French way of life. Participation to orientation week is compulsory and of course, free of charge. ORIENTATION WEEK –GRADUATE DEGREE SEPTEMBER 2018
