Service of Morning Worship August 8, 2021 PRELUDE WELCOME * HYMN OF PRAISE No. 127 CWM RHONDDA Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah * CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 130:1-6 Leader: Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. People: Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! Leader: For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. People: But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered. Leader: I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; People: My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning. * OPENING PRAYER * AFFIRMATION OF FAITH Apostles’ Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
