Our Aims & Objectives Aim To promote personal, social and emotional wellbeing. Objectives • To provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment. • To develop self-confidence, self-control and self-esteem. • To develop spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding. • To promote an inclusive ethos enabling each child to become a valued member of the setting. More Information We are a Registered Community Interest Company (CIC) Company Number – 7376802 • Our registration is held with OFSTED Early Years Directorate, Registration No. 319273 • We are registered to provide all day or sessional places for children aged 2 years to 5 years. • We meet the Statutory Framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We put in practice the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Please read • All our policies and procedures are available for parents/carers to read. PLEASE READ OUR POLICY ON PARKING; parking on the school site, for the safety of all the children, IS NOT ALLOWED. Parking in the ‘drop off’ bay is not allowed at any time. • Weekly planning and continuous provision is displayed on the parents’ information board. • Your child’s progress and photographic evidence is available to parents at any time. • We are aware some children have additional needs, we are pro-active in ensuring the welfare and development of the child is met. We use the DFES Code of Practice. • Parents are invited to come to an informal information evening, before your child starts the Pre-School. We have an open door policy. Parents/carers and children are welcome to pay unannounced visits at ANY time. • Staff are approachable and helpful. Parents/carers may ask questions of the staff team at ANY time. • Staff training and development is on-going. • We listen to parents. We listen to children. We promise to provide a first-class environment where you can feel absolutely confident that your child will receive the best possible care and learning opportunities.

It strives for continuous improvement and actively seeks the views of others to support their self-evaluation process. • Staff have established good partnerships with the host primary school, which helps to support children with their future move. Links with the local authority and Sure Start teachers are also in place to ensure children’s individual requirements are fully met. • Children independently access a wide range of resources and remain engaged and interested in their play. Staff effectively plan a good selection of challenging experiences across all areas of learning. • Staff ensure parents are well informed about their children’s learning and development. Parents receive verbal feedback, attend regular meetings to discuss their children’s achievements and are invited to attend stay-and-play sessions. • Children develop their physical skills, as staff encourage them to explore, investigate and be active in the outdoor play area. Children enjoy climbing over the wooden bridge, swinging on the tyres and using a selection of ride-on toys. • Children form positive relationships with staff, contributing to them being happy, settled and content. What We Offer 30 hours of free childcare for working families with 3-year- old and 4-year-old children. 15 hours of free childcare for all families with 3-year-old and 4-year-old children. 15 hours of free childcare for eligible families with 2-year-old children (please ask for eligibility). We accept childcare vouchers. Tax-Free childcare is also available. Help with childcare costs is available for students at college or university.
