From the whacky toothless “Hee Haw” cast to serious renditions by Shania Twain, “You’re Still the One” and Eddy Arnold, “You Don’t Know Me”. Mini Pearl’s stories had us laughing and colorful tap dancing saloon gals ruffled everyone up with “Belly Up to the Bar Boys”! Accompanied by the “Elderly Brothers” the “Old Ridge Boys” and audience enjoyed singing along to “Elvira” and many others! The show had something for everyone and was another BIG hit!

Adriana and Lisa with Outpatient Services, presented an interactive presentation discussing the causes of lymphedema, recognizing symptoms, impact of lymphedema on quality of life, treatment approach and clinical staff specializing in lymphedema treatment and management. Mimosa Morning Heart Walk “Thank You” to all of our residents and staff that participated in our Heart Walk February 19th. We enjoyed some sunshine got out got some exercise and finished with Mimosa’s and healthy snacks in the courtyard courtesy of our culinary department. We walked in support to raise Awareness of Heart Disease the leading cause in death in both men and women and accounts for 610,000 deaths annually. We are all affected by Heart Disease directly or indirectly. So from the “Wellness Center” we would like to encourage everyone to get out get active and continue to “Live” Your Best Life! Thanks to the Waterman Village Veterans for initiating this project and thank you to Plant Operations for helping their vision become reality. It is truly is a lovely tribute and we thank you, veterans, for your service. God Bless America Hearing Aids, Insurance Coverage and New Technology with Dr. Ericka DeVore, Audiologist Outlining the causes for hearing loss and the benefits of getting treated for hearing loss, Dr. DeVore gave an overview of some of the great NEW technologies available and the services she offers. Information on what is and isn’t covered by insurance was of great interest. Q & A offered an opening for some residents to express concerns and resolutions they have received with some of the new technology.
