Thank you for all that you do! NEW 2021 1099 FORMS PAYMENT ARE READY CALENDAR Tax season is about to begin! The ALS Accounting Department has processed 1099 forms for all independent contractors. As of today, all interpreters should have already received their email forms; paper forms should be Affordable Language Services' arriving sometime this week, if they 2021 pay period calendar is now have not yet already arrived. WEEK OF JANUARY 18, 2021, ISSUE 229 ASL CORNER WHITE HOUSE TO USE ASL INTERPRETERS The White House announced on Monday, January 25, 2021, that an ASL interpreter will be included at every regular press brief "as part of this administration's accessibility and inclusion efforts." This announcement was provided by the White House press secretary, Jen Psaki, in combination with an ASL interpreter, identified as "Heather," who was live-streamed with Ms. Psaki.
