Congratulations to all of our students who stood out from the rest for being joyful at school, in their school work, in their peer relationships and towards learning in general. 1 Peter 1:8 Cross Country athletes, pictured above, gave it their Though you have not seen Him, you love all at Malden Park as they competed against other Him; and even though you do not see Him schools in October’s Cross Country meet. Congratulations to all of our athletes, some of now, you believe in Him and are filled with whom took home ribbons, and all of whom made personal best times. Fire Prevention Posters LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Students in grades 1-6 created posters for Leamington Fire Station’s, Fire Prevention Poster Contest. Three winners were chosen from each class (above). All 18 of our posters then went to compete against other schools in the area, and two of our students won trophies and money! Congratulations to Olivia F and Zachary D!!!(below) Amazing performance in MARY POPPINS at Migration Hall by our very own Ciarra B (above)! Congratulations on such an excellent job dancing, singing and acting! Joining Ciarra on stage, Jude M, who graduated from SSCS two years ago, shone in the roll of Burt (below). FKC: Movie Night Fundraiser Chocolate Bar Fundraising Success! Students invited family and friends to our Movie night. It was a big success. A special thank you to Mrs. Murrray and Mrs. Koop for all of their hard work. An enormous THANK YOU to all of our families for selling chocolate bars this year to support our Happy Thanksgiving! Love, The Grade 2 Class school. Our top sellers were the Collard Family. Second place went to Christopher M and third went to Cornie H. Great job everyone! Grade 2’s got to enjoy a special Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings as part of their Social Studies unit which explores cultures, traditions and holidays. Thank you to all of the parents and Mrs. Pacitti-Fallone for making this meal possible! Nora C, Grade 8, definitely aced one section of her Psalm 107:1 novel study presentation when she arrived in full “Give thanks to the LORD, for He is costume! Way to pump up your presentation! good; His love endures forever.” Caleb W, Grade 4, added an element of pure cuteness to his science project with his self-made, Vanessa F, Kailey V and Theresa N and self-sewn, Black-Footed- Ferret. You have such Grade 4’s having a whale of a good time on their talent, Caleb! Great Work! group research project!
