However, parenting can also become incredibly difficult and stressful. Sometimes just a couple of handy hints in understanding why something is happening would be great. Fortunately, experts have found some ways to help parents cope when parenting gets difficult. We (MGPS) have booked one such professional – Jo Lang, to come and speak to parents and carers on Wednesday May 8th at 7.00pm in the hall. I can highly recommend Jo to you. She is witty, practical, easy to listen to and most importantly has lots of great parenting ideas. Make the effort to come to this night, (minus your children) have a glass of wine, and listen to some expert tips for positive parenting. END OF TERM 1 Once again Term 1 has flown by ever so quickly and as always life at school has been action packed with many extra curricula activities making for a very productive and busy time for all. Our 3 - 6 students worked diligently during P.E. as they completed their Athletics unit whilst our juniors developed their fundamental movement skills through a range of small games and activities. I am excited by the improvement demonstrated by all of our students with some excellent results shown by our 3 - 6 students. They have given me the difficult task of filtering through all of their results to select the Athletics team which will compete at the District Athletics Carnival on 9th May. The F - 2 cohort has also had an amazing start to the year settling back into the routines of P.E. and developing their skills. I have had a lot of fun this Term watching our students enjoy P.E. as they continue to grow and improve. Have a happy and safe holidays and I look forward to another great Term after the break! FOOTY TIPS After a challenging opening 2 rounds we find Max T (11), Pies girl (10) and Saint Ziza (10) round out the top 3.
