This year, Sunrise Learning conducted
“Summer Fun School” in June 2020.
No Summer Break !!
Lets see what the Sunrizers accomplished in this month.
NIOS Enrollments in all levels: Students are preparing for OBE
levels A, B, C and Grade 10th with help from their teachers &
Parents. Students are working hard to achieve their
dreams. These classes are now OPEN for Non-Sunrizers also.

ONLINE FUN !!
FUN CLASSES
For the students,
ONLINE FUN is at its BEST this summer at SUNRISE
with the parents, LEARNING !! Students are enjoying FUN classes
with activities like dance, art, story, singing,
by the parents !! playing music, craft, and some really novel games
like “Treasure Hunt” and “Sound Bingo” being
played on a Digital platform !!
Like every year, Some guest faculty also conduct
sessions during the Summer School.
The students are loving it.
The best part about this SUMMER SCHOOL 2020
is that the
MOTHERS ARE CONDUCTING THE FUN ACTIVITIES !!
ONLINE FUN GAMES & ACTIVITIES conducted by moms & grandmoms !
GAMES FOR SOCIAL SKILLS !! Students are playing new customized games like Passing the parcel or Antakshari, water/ sensory motor games, Tambola, Dumb Charades, Scavenger Hunt, Bingo, Barrier Games, All-about-Papa games (on Father’s Day, 21st June) etc. Games have been designed and created to teach concepts like money concepts, mental maths etc. SOUND BINGO was a Super Hit game ! The students were asked to identify the sounds of their teachers !!
THE DANCE OF INCLUSION !!
Dance/Zumba/ Aerobics
Classes: Students
enjoyed a few sessions of
dance/Zumba classes
online. Teachers plan and
share on the Watsapp
groups one day ahead.

AVAZ GAMES
The parents are learning to create games on AVAZ and for teaching their children to use
AVAZ for playing regular games like carrom board and treasure hunt !!

Students are discovering Art through ART DISCOVERY

FUN ART: DRAWING, SKETCHING, COLORING, PAINTING
ART brings joy and calmness, Color brings happiness ! The students are enjoying these rejuvenating activities
with their parents through online fun art classes. Students gets chance to do it on paper and on computer (MS
Paint) both. A water painting ONLINE workshop was conducted by our Guest faculty Ms. Monika Tomar
Saroch for the students.

Cooking Classes : Students of all age-groups are
loving these FUN cooking classes, that give them
sensory inputs plus new skills: Knead the dough and
make rotis, sandwich, fruit salad, Bhelpuri, Tang and
bake-a-cake for dad !MUSIC IS MY SOUL !!
Students are beginning to unleash their musical sides !!
Music is an integral part of our lives and our special little friends have a
special connection with music. They enjoy music in several forms: singing
rhymes or songs, playing the keyboard or listening !!

SUMMER SCHOOL 2020
Like every year,
2020-2021. This year, 15 students enrolled so far ! this year too, we will conduct the
5 students in Level A (upto Grade 3) SUMMER FEST in June,
5 students in Level B (upto Grade 5) from 1st June to 30th June.
2 students in Level C (upto Grade 8) The school timings will be shorter and the
3 students in Grade 10th !! classes will be fun and light !!
It will focus on social skills and leisure skills.

On several requests from non-Sunrise Learning parents, a new program ONLINE SKILLS PROGRAM
(OSP) has been introduced. The students can now enroll for these short-term programs, and get
sessions through the digital platform. If you would like to pass on this Information to your friends,

Yes, students found it difficult to adjust to the virtual platform
in the first month, but by end of April, they have actually
moved beyond adjusting, and now we can see learning
happening.
Sunrise Learning salutes all the parents for the patience,
consistency and loving efforts !
You helped the students to adjust with the screen,
and follow the teacher, and submit homework by email !!
Continue with the same energy, faith and love. The children will surprise you each day !Happiness is a choice,
