Tiangong University 2021 International Students’ Prospectus Ⅰ. Training Objectives The objective is to cultivate international talents with an international vision. They not only understand the Chinese culture but also master a solid and broad basic theory and systematic and in-depth expertise, have the ability to independently engage in scientific research or specialized technical work. Ⅱ. Enrollment Scale In 2021, our school will recruit bachelor students, master students, and doctoral students from all over the world. It is prospective to enroll about 170 students. The actual enrollment number will be adjusted according to the source of students in reality and submitted to the University Scholarship Evaluation Committee for approval. Ⅲ. Scholarships (ⅰ) Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) In order to enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and the people of other countries, and to develop exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in various fields. The Chinese Government sets up scholarships to sponsor outstanding students, teachers, and scholars from all over the world to study or carry out research in Chinese universities. 1. Candidates: bachelor students, master students, doctoral students. 2. Duration: 4 years for bachelor students; 3 years for master students; 4 years for doctoral students. 3. Instruction languages: Chinese and English. (1) Full scholarship ● Tuition fee: Free ●Accommodation fee: Free campus accommodation fee ●Living expenses: Standard for: bachelor students: 2,500 CNY /month; master students: 3,000 CNY /
month; Doctoral students: 3, 500 CNY /month.
●Comprehensive medical insurance: Free.
(2) Partial scholarship: it is one or several items of the full scholarship.
(ⅱ) Tianjin Government Scholarship
1. Candidates: bachelor students, master students, doctoral students.
2. Instruction languages: Chinese and English.

Ⅳ. Application Conditions
1. Foreign citizens and in good health condition.
2. Academic and age requirements:
(1). For the bachelor’s program, applicants have to provide a diploma or certificate
equivalent to a senior high school in China and be under the age of 30.
(2). For the master’s program, applicants have to provide bachelor’s degree or
equivalent, recommendation letter from two professors or associate professors, and beunder the age of 35.
(3). For the doctoral program, applicants have to provide a master’s degree or
equivalent, recommendation letter from two professors or associate professors, and be
under the age of 40.
3. Language Skills (for degree study applications)
1. For the Chinese taught program, you need HSK certificate level 4 or above; or
pass the oral interview.
2. For the English teaching program, you need to meet one of the following
requirements.
(1) Native English speaker;
(2) IELTS score 5.5 or above;
(3) TOFEL (computer based) score 60 or above;
(4) Pass the oral interview.
4. The applicant has not also received other forms of scholarship.

Ⅵ. Place of study
All applicants are trained in Xiqing Campus of our university after being admitted.
The location of the campus: No. 399, West Binshui Road, Xiqing District, Tianjin.
The campus location is superior, convenient transportation, beautiful environment, and
close to the subway line 3.
Ⅶ. Registration method and time
(ⅰ) China Scholarship Council (CSC)

Registration time: before April 15, 2021.
(ⅱ) Tianjin Scholarship and University-level ScholarshipRegistration method: apply online: https://tjpu.17gz.org/member/login.do
Registration time: before May 15, 2021.
Ⅷ. Evaluation and admission
(ⅰ) The applicant shall submit the application materials to the Admission Section of the
School of International Education within the specified time as required;
(ⅱ) The Admission Working Group conducts a preliminary examination of the
application materials to examine the application criteria and the completeness of
the information;
(ⅲ) The Working Group will submit the required application materials to the
professional colleges；
(ⅳ) Upon completion of the professional assessment, the relevant materials and list
shall be returned to the Admission Working Group of the School of International
Education
(ⅴ) The Institute of International Education shall convene the Foreign Student
Scholarship Review Committee to conduct a final review of the recommendation
list, determine the final recommendation list, and submit it to the higher
scholarship approval unit.
Ⅸ. Disclosure of information
The scholarship evaluation results will be publicized on the official website for a period
of no less than five working days. If the applicant has any objection to the scholarship
evaluation results will be publicized on the official website for a period of no less than

report it within the publicity period. The Scholarship Working Group conducts
investigations and solicits opinions from all quarters, and gives a written reply to the
dissenter within five working days from the date of receipt of the response.
