PROGRAMME OUTLINE Sept 2021 - Feb 2022 ROTATION ONE - ABS If successful in your application, you will join Genus on Wednesday 1st September 2021. Your first 6-months will be spent with the largest cattle breeding business in the world, Genus ABS. During this rotation, you can expect to: • Build knowledge of Genus ABS’ processes and customers, including; - Dairy and Beef Industry operations, needs and challenges throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa - Bovine genetics - ABS’ breeding selection programmes, products and services • Solve a range of problems and explain in-depth information: - To support the transformation of internal process in a smart, efficient and digitized way - To demonstrate the genetic potential customers can achieve through ABS products and services - To champion change and innovation through research and new ideas to overcome challenges within the industry March 2022 - Aug 2022 ROTATION TWO – PROMAR INTERNATIONAL Upon successful completion of your first rotation, you will transition to Genus ABS’ farm consultancy business, Promar International for 6 months. During this rotation, you can expect to: • Build knowledge of Promar International, processes and customers, including: - Business Planning and Business Financial Performance - Data, Change and Sustainability - Staff Management and Development - Animal Nutrition, Health, Welfare and Reproductive Performance • Solve a range of problems and explain in-depth information: - To identify opportunities to add-value to customer experience through specialist consultancy - To deliver expert farm consultancy services to farm business’ throughout Great Britain - To support the delivery of company-wide change strategies and projects to support and sustain the future of farming Sept 2022 - Feb 2023 ROTATION THREE – TAILORED TO YOU Upon successful completion of your first 12-months on the Genus Graduate Scheme, you can expect your final rotation to be tailored to your knowledge, skills, abilities and career aspirations. You can expect to: • Continue your professional development with a brand, business area and job role you are considering for your future permanent position starting in September 2022 - Add-value to the business area you support, with real-world goals and opportunities to demonstrate your potential - Make reliable, informed and innovative recommendations and implement change to develop product and service potential - Participate in and lead fast-paced strategic projects aligned to Genus’s strategic framework and priorities • Or fast-track into your first permanent job role and complete the 4 Genus Graduate Scheme in March 2022
