ISSUE 5 APRIL/MAY 2021 Head of School Newsletter The latest GCCS news and announcements Dear GCCS Family, In This Issue As we move toward the final weeks of the 2020-2021 school year, I continue to have the words of "Great is Thy Faithfulness" playing in my mind: "Morning by morning / New mercies I see." Each day, we have had reason to give praise and thanks to God for His faithfulness Note from Head of School throughout an unprecedented year. June 2021 June 1 - CCHS Graduation for Class of '21 (Tickets required.) June 4 - Final Day of School for 2020-2021. August 2021 August 23 - Back to School! First day for 2021-2022 school year! Calvin's Car Lot Calvin's Car Lot is one of our GCCS partner organizations. GCCS was blessed this year to receive a check for $ 130,000 from Calvin's Car Lot to support the schools and to keep the cost of tuition lower for each family. The Car Lot had its most successful year-to-date despite being closed for almost three months. It continues to be a great success! Vehicle inventory is running very low; they have been selling cars and trucks as soon as they get them! If you have a vehicle to donate or would like to discuss a reasonable sale offer on your vehicle, contact Calvin's Car Lot at 616-427-3128. Nice Twice Resale Shoppe Nice Twice is another of our GCCS partner organizations. Through the hard work of a dedicated group of volunteers and your donations, Nice Twice blessed GCCS with a contribution of $ 225,000 this year! They support our local community by providing great deals and support our Christian schools by off- setting tuition through its profits.
