Connecting Schools 2021-22 Silver Grant Menu Schools who reach silver accreditation (300 points) and unlock this package will receive up to $799 in value for a small scale bike related infrastructure project, place-making initiatives or road safety sign pack. Upon unlocking this package, the Your Move Team will be in touch to arrange a kick-off meeting to discuss grant ideas. Listed below are some suggested options for you to consider. Small grants - up to $799 in value Option Description Choose from a selection of small-scale bike and scooter 1. Silver parking options up to the value of $799 to best suit the (customisable) infrastructure needs of your school. bike/scooter parking Includes “Free Parking” Your Move sign. infrastructure See Appendix 1Silver infrastructure menu from the Your Move package Officer to view available options. Ensure the safety of the bikes your students and staff are using on their journey to and from school! Select this package and a team of bike mechanics will visit your school to deliver the Bicycle Check Up service. 2. Bike Check-up This package offers a check-up and service for up to 20 Package bicycles. A team of bike mechanics will provide an on-site visit and the service includes comprehensive safety check and basic bike service. Advice will be provided on any additional repairs required or part replacements needed. (Available to metro schools only)

Clinic This 1-hour course is available for metro schools only and will be delivered at your school to up to 30 students and includes hire bikes, coaching staff and teaching aids. Your Move Schools want to see more locally-driven initiatives taking place in the Your Move school communities that inspire active travel. Whether that is a once-off event (ride to school 5. Developing road safety skills is an important aspect to becoming safe and confident pedestrians and users of bicycles and scooters. This road safety signs package will create opportunities for students to role play scenarios in a safe and support environment and establish safer behaviours in preparation for real world situations. Each road safety sign is made from powder coated steel. Kit 6. Road Safety contains: 1 x TG05 No Entry Sign, 1 x TG03 Roundabout Signs Package Sign, 1 x 60Kph Speed Limit Sign, 1 x TK2990 Traffic Light, 1 x TG02 Give Way Sign, 1 x TG06 Kangaroo Ahead Sign, 1 x TG01 Stop Sign. 2 x TG08 Pedestrian Crossing Ahead Sign, 2 x TG10 Road Work Barrier, 2 x TG09 Hand held Stop Slow Signs, 2 x CUS0017 Construction Helmets, 2 x BR32110 Spades, 1 x TG07 Hand Held Children Crossing Sign, 1 x TW814G Wheelbarrow and 1 x SSP16 Zebra Crossing. Road signs are 86(L)cm on a steel 22 x 28cm base.
4 Appendix 1: Connecting Schools 2021-22 Silver Grant Infrastructure Menu Below is a list of possible infrastructure packages available upon unlocking a Silver grant. Metro schools, all packages include supply and installation into existing concrete, by Leda Security. Click on the product codes below to view more details. Regional schools, products will be supplied and delivered by Leda Security, but installation options need to be discussed with Your Move Schools Officer. Please note, installation costs might not be covered by the grant funding.
