JANUARY 2021 | ISSUE 2 JUNGLE CATS CHEER, DANCE & AEROBICS BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS We are finally back in the gym with all your smiling faces! An amazing finish to a 2020 has finally come to a close and we could not be more excited about where we are as a club. We are so excited to see all the new faces coming crazy year in the doors to join our amazing family, and so thankful to our existing students for their hard work and dedication. There is so much we are going to pack into 2021, so GET READY! Some things to look forward to: Cabaret/Trivia Night Jungle Buddies Wine and Cheese Nights Watching weeks Spirit week Competition Makeup and Hair Masterclasses Dress up weeks and of course our Competitions! Lets make 2021 the best year yet at Jungle Cats!
Awards Day/Xmas Thank you to everyone who attended our end of year celebration. It was such Party an amazing day full of great food, face painting, and an awesome jumping castle! SUMMER SEASON Our first week of Summer Season is in full swing! We are so excited to see how many of you have decided to join us for these 4 weeks. Our coaches have begun their Choreography for the Spirit of AASCF Competition in March and we can already tell this is going to be our most creative year yet! If you would like to join in our Summer Season, you still can! Let us know ASAP and we can sort it out. From the few weeks we were able to have in the gym last term, to this first week back, we are seeing some huge improvements. It is very encouraging to see all the work our athletes have been putting in at home over the break, and the hard work they are doing in class.
Jungle Buddies This year we are introducing a Jungle Buddies system. We will pair all of our younger athletes up with one of our older athletes. This means they will always have a familiar face to go to when we are at competitions and events if they need some support, and give them someone to look up to within the school. Wine and Cheese Nights These adults only events will be a chance for our amazing parents to connect with our coaches and each other. We believe it is important for our parents to be as involved in the school Hair and Makeup as your amazing kids are. These nights will include raffles, games Masterclasses and good times. Special Weeks We are lucky enough to have a fully qualified hair and makeup artist working at Jungle Cats this year. Coach This year we will hold a watching week Lyndsay will be running competition at the end of each term, to allow hair and makeup classes to make sure parents to come and watch their child's everyone is confident and capable of classes. This gives the parents an insight getting their kids ready for into their child's education and competitions! These classes will also progression in the class. teach you how to look after your child's skin and hair, to avoid damage down Dress up weeks will be held around the track. holidays too! We want to see your holiday spirit. Spirit Week will be in full swing this year too! This is a chance to have a bit of fun in the stressful weeks before a competition. Keep and eye out for all the other special weeks we have planned throughout the year!
Why not try something new? We offer so many different styles here at Jungle Cats, why not give something new a try. Open Tumble We would love to encourage our students to branch out and try something new this year. If you are a cheerleader, why not give dance a go? Or maybe Aerobics! We Dont forget we offer an open tumble want out athletes to be well rounded hour on Fridays! This is open to anyone and offer them as many opportunities who wants some extra time on the as possible. floor with Coach Lizzie to work on their skills. Adult Ballet & Friday 6:30-7:30pm $5 Cash on day Jungle Kitties Because our Adult Ballet has been SO highly requested, we are adding another class! Thursdays 6:30pm & Fridays 1pm Our Jungle Kitties class has also been a big hit! Bring your 2-4 year olds down for some ballet fun Fridays 2pm.
