SPOUSE MEMBERS 10 AND 20 • Available to a spouse of a full-playing member. • Limited number of rounds per year. • 9-holes: Monday and Tuesday, all day. Thursday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Weekends after 3 p.m. • Every tee-time after 5pm will be treated as 9 holes. • No restrictions on day or time of play. • Once the number of rounds is reached, the member has the option of upgrading to the next level of Associate membership or to Full membership by paying the fee difference. • Cannot play as a guest after using their allocated number of rounds. • Can purchase a 5-game package for $600 after September 15. • There is no cash or credit value to each round and no rounds may be carried over to the next season or transferred to another member. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS 15 • Limit on the number of rounds per year. • 9-holes: Monday and Tuesday, all day. CORPORATE MEMBERS • Playing privileges for up to four individuals from the company, designated annually by the company and whose employ by the company is supported by documentation. A package of games that may be used by your designated members and their guests. (Note: A fee of $250 is applicable to change the name of a designate during the calendar year). • Limit on the number of rounds of golf per year per category (40, 60, 80 or 100 games). • There is no cash or credit value to each round and no rounds may be carried over to the next season or transferred to another member. Restrictions on day or time of play: • Weekdays: no restrictions • Weekends and holidays: may play after 1 p.m. • Golf Canada Gold Card for first designate, $38 for each subsequent designate. • Can participate in all club social events. • Can participate in non-competitive golf events, including men’s and women’s leagues (upon payment of the relevant fees), June Classic, Men’s and Women’s Member-Guest Days, Rivermead Cup Day, Ernie Harsh, Centennial Classic, Par 3 Tournament and Fall Classic. Women may participate in most Thursday and Saturday women’s golf activities. • Cannot participate in some competitive golf events, including Intersectional and women’s Interclub Teams, Club Championships and some other competitive events. These include all women’s events involving cups and trophies. GETTING STARTED 2 • Six private lessons. • 1.5-hour weekly group lessons (May 1 to August 31). • Golf privileges up to 20 rounds after 3:30 p.m. from May 20 onwards without being accompanied by a member. • May purchase up to 10 rounds of golf at the applicable guest fee rate for play at any time beginning July 1. • This category is only available to a member for a maximum of one year. TRANSITION (after completing the 2-year getting started program) • Include 15 rounds. • Every tee-time counts as an 18-hole round. Exception after 4pm where the round may be treated as 9 holes. • This category is only available to a member for a maximum of one year. • No restrictions on day or time of play. • When the number of permitted rounds is reached, the member can transfer to a higher category by paying the applicable fees. • Not allowed to play as a guest after reaching the number of rounds allowed. • Right to purchase a 5-round package in the amount of $ 600 after September 15th. • Each round has no value per se (credit / cash) and unused rounds cannot be carried forward to the next season or transferred to someone else. JUNIOR MEMBERS Pre-junior (7 to 9 years old as of January 1) • Reserved for children and grandchildren of golfing members of Rivermead Golf Club. • Must be accompanied on the golf course at all times by the parent or grandparent golfing member. • Must tee off from the forward (red) tees on Par 3s, from the 150-yard marker on Par 4s and from the 200-yard marker on Par 5s unless the Head Professional approves play from the forward (red) tees. Restrictions on day and time of play: • Weekdays: after 5 p.m. • Weekends and Statutory Holidays: after 3 p.m. Pre-junior Elite (7 to 9 years old as of January 1) • Must have an established handicap • Must have been approved by the Head Professional. • Reserved for children and grandchildren of golfing members. • The Pre-juniors must be accompanied on the golf course at all times by the parent or grandparent golfing member. • Must tee off from the forward (red) tees on Par 3s, from the 150-yard marker on Par 4s and from the 200-yard marker on Par 5s unless the Head Professional approves play from the forward (red) tees. Juniors (10 to 18 years old as of January 1) • Must have an established handicap. • Juniors may play with other juniors during the appropriate times. Restrictions on day and time of play: • Weekdays: before noon and after 2 p.m. (no play on Wednesdays after noon) • Weekends and Statutory Holidays: after 1 p.m. Class A Juniors (10 to 18 years old as of January 1) • No restrictions on day or time of play. • Must have been approved by the Head Professional. • Boys: with handicap factors of 8.6 or less. • Girls: with handicap factors of 18.4 or less. • Must be ranked in the top 50 of the QGA order of merit and those who are members of a provincial golf team and who have submitted a letter of recommendation from a school principal or other adult in a similar position of authority. • Rivermead must be their home course, and they must play an active role in Rivermead’s junior program. SOCIAL MEMBERS May play up to a maximum of five rounds of golf per year as a guest of a golfing member upon payment of a guest fee. May only use practice facility up to five days per year and only on the same day that a guest fee has been paid.
