2020/21 SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Next year’s school supply lists went out last week via School Messenger. The supply lists
are also posted on our website HERE. Should you choose to order the supplies through
Creative Children, ordering is done online through Creative Children (choose our school
name and the grade your child will be entering in September). For free shipping to the
school (at the end of August), orders are due before July 5th (there will be a shipping
charge on any orders placed after July 5th).

Creative Children has put together convenient and cost effective packages, and ordering
the supplies through Creative Children also benefits your child as this is a RPAC
fundraiser.

For students who are learning from home this week, it's SHARK WEEK!! As before, there

more than one! We hope you enjoy Shark Week and that you learn something new about
these incredible animals. Here is the link: https://www.smore.com/xep1g

WVSS FREE VIRTUAL VOLLEYBALL CAMP (GR 5-7)
The West Vancouver Secondary School (WVSS) Senior Girls Volleyball Team has been
working hard to offer their first ever FREE virtual volleyball camp! This virtual volleyball
camp will provide West Van Elementary students with an opportunity to develop their
volleyball skills at home.

Who can participate?
The videos are geared to Intermediate students (grades 5-7) and their families (the more,
the merrier!)

How does it work?
Our videos demonstrate skills, challenges and games so “Virtual Campers” can
participate at home by watching our videos. The senior volleyball team will be providing
skill analysis and a variety of activities to try via our Youtube link: http://bit.do/wvvolleyball

Did you say prizes??
We may even have prizes to distribute to those campers who send a short video or photo
of a challenge or game to Kathy Finch at kfinch@wvschools.ca
