act heet 2022 - 2023 General Information Founded in 1943, Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private University located in Mexico with 26 campuses across the country and a population of more than 9,000 professors and over 90,000 students enrolled in high-school, undergraduate and graduate programs. Ranked among the top 200 universities in the world and with a rating of five QS stars, Tecnológico de Monterrey achieved full marks in the categories of internationalization, innovation, employability, facilities and specialist criteria. Nomination and Application Process Nomination 1) Go to studyinmexico.tec.mx/nominate. 2) Select the right option and input the code you got via email from our Central Office. If you didn’t get the code, fill out the form to get it. If you have another issue while nominating, please contact studyinmexico@itesm.mx for assistance. After nomination 1) Students will receive an email with the information to start the application after they are nominated. Please ask your students to check their junk and spam folders if they don’t get the email automatically. 2) As an admission requirement, students must upload a scan of their valid passport. 3) The admission decision will be sent via email.
Academic Offering Tecnológico de Monterrey offers 47 undergraduate degrees under 6 different schools, all with a wide variety of courses in English and Spanish each term, providing students with a rich overview of different perspectives from various cultures: Medicine and Health Sciences Business Humanities and Education Engineering and Sciences Social Sciences and Government Architecture and Design The course catalog becomes available before the beginning of each semester. During Spring 2022, we’re having a transition semester where students will decide whether to follow the traditional educational model or the TEC21 model. The course catalogs for said period are available in the following links: TRADITIONAL Model (Virtual) TRADITIONAL Model (In-person) TEC21 Model (In-person) For the Spring 2022 term, the only available campuses will be Ciudad de México, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Querétaro. Not all campuses offer the 47 disciplines. Medicine and Health Sciences is only available in Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Ciudad de México. Credits and Evaluation The number of credits given by a course is defined by the number of class hours and self-study time a student must spend weekly in the subject. Non-restricted nationalities: Require an FMM (migratory form obtained upon entry to the country), but do not need a visa if the stay is for 180 days or less (semester or summer). Restricted nationalities: Require a visa that must be issued at any Mexican consulate or embassy, regardless of the time of stay. Health Insurance Students participating on our on-site program during Spring 2022 are required to get the SURA health insurance recommended by Tecnológico de Monterrey. The insurance must be bought before arriving to Mexico in the following page: https://segurossuratravel.com/en/. Once bought, students must send a copy of their policy by filling out the following form: https://form.jotform.com/ProgIntCSC/Segurodegastosmedicos. Students in online programs are not required to provide a proof of international health insurance since traveling to Mexico is not necessary. Accommodation Each campus has different accommodation options. Please note that not all the options are available at all campuses and the cost for each varies from city to city.
