Animal Friends Alliance Update 2023 Year-to-date Statistics Adoptions in 2023: 142 Animals Served by Community Pet Resources Programs: 2,005 2022 Animal Friends Alliance Recap The year we brought paws together. With your support and generosity Animal Friends Alliance had an incredible year in 2022. We completed our new shelter and successfully raised over $2.8 million dollars through our Bringing Paws Together capital campaign. Our team worked diligently to move our adoptable cats to our new and improved Taft Hill campus, bringing the cats and dogs together. We took on new roles, shifted responsibilities, and put in the hard work to continue on our mission to reduce pet homelessness. In 2022 we were ecstatic to adopt out 3,324 cats and dogs into loving homes. We assisted our community with 7,947 spay/neuter procedures and provided vaccines for 3,215 animals at our public clinic. Our Community Cat Program helped 964 cats. This impactful program helps reduce the feral and homeless cat population. Our kibble pantry assisted pet families in need by providing 5,564 pounds of dog and cat food. This life-saving work
couldn't have been done without the ongoing generosity of our supporters. Thank you for being a part of our journey. With your help, 2023 is going to be our best year yet! Help Hathor Find a Loving Home! The name "Hathor" translates to warrior goddess, which is exactly what this special kitty is. She has been in our shelter the longest out of any of our other adoptable animals- over 500 days. She had a rough start here at Animal Friends Alliance. She was diagnosed with cancer, but has successfully beat it and is now in remission! She’s a loving and affectionate cat who enjoys gentle head scratches. Hathor would do best as the only pet in the home, as she wants all the attention to herself. If you’re looking for an easy, furry, and sweet kitty- Hathor is the one for you! Interested in Hathor? You can complete an adoption questionnaire by visiting our website or send any questions you may have about her to adopt@savinganimalstoday.org. If you're not in a place to adopt a new friend, you can also donate to support her care and ensure we can keep helping cats in need like Hathor!
