Hidden Hollow Roadrunner Rap February 28th Hidden Hollow - A place where we all grow together! At Hidden Hollow, we plan for experiences for our staff and students that allow us to collaborate and grow together. It is great to be a part of a community where students, teachers, and parents care for each other and strive to build meaningful relationships that support academic and social-emotional growth. Please make sure you bring a valid Texas Driver's License when you come up to Hidden Hollow to visit or check out a student, even if you are a frequent visitor. We want to make sure all safety protocols are followed. Walker/Bike Dismissal Safety Procedures
We have so many students who go home via bike or walking that we want to make sure it is as safe for all of them as possible. We are asking that all students and family members walk their bikes off of school grounds to prevent any accidents from occurring. Thank you for your support.
Voting - March 1st Tuesday, March 1st is an election day. Please be aware of the following: All parents, volunteers, and visitors will enter the building through the security vestibule. Persons entering for voting will use the designated cafeteria door, not the security vestibule. All students will eat lunch in their classrooms that day, so we will not have lunch visitors.

PTA Healthy Lifestyles Download Healthy Lifestyles march1.pdf pdf 233.8 KB BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION Friends and family can use the Box Tops 4 Education app to raise money for HHE and give credit to the student of their choice. Electronic receipts can be emailed to receipts@boxtops4education.com from the registered emailed address and credit given to the student after the Box Tops appear on their app. Physical Box Tops can be collected in a bag, labeled with the student’s name, and turned into their teacher. Cafeteria News The cafeteria uses www.SchoolCafe.com for payments and restrictions. Please create an account, if you don't already have one, then you may add money, view purchases, and/or add restrictions. Please note that breakfast and lunch will be at no cost once again this year, but if a student wishes to purchase an extra snack they will do so with money in their account. Birthday Treats Parents are permitted to recognize a child's birthday. At this time we are encouraging the purchase of frozen treats from the cafeteria for all students in the class. As a school reminder, invitations to parties held outside of school or events hosted or sponsored by parents cannot be distributed during the school day. Invitations may not be distributed by classroom teachers at any time. College/Career Shirt Day We will have Wisdom Wednesdays where students can show their college or career spirit by wearing their favorite college, career, or military shirts.
Spirit Shirt Days On Fridays, show your HHE school spirit by wearing your HHE shorts and/or school colors. You can purchase spirit shirts through the following site: https://1stplacespiritwear.com/schools/TX/Kingwood/Hidden+Holl ow+Elementary+School Volunteers When the opportunity comes for volunteers to visit and support many of the wonderful events that take place at HHE, ALL volunteers need to complete the short online application. Please visit https://www.humbleisd.net/volunteer for more details and thank you for showing your support. Student Health Please continue to communicate with us regarding the health of your student. If your child is exhibiting ANY symptoms of illness, please keep them home until they are feeling better. This will help prevent the spread of germs. There are no adverse consequences for students being absent due to illness, suspecting an illness, or self-quarantining. In the event of a positive COVID test, please use the Student Reporting Form to notify Humble ISD. Students and staff may return 10 calendar days after onset of symptoms or date of positive test AND 24 hours symptom-free without medication (ex. fever-free without medication). If the individual is symptomatic, the 10 days count from the onset of symptoms. If the individual is asymptomatic, the 10 days count from the date the individual was tested. Dual Credit Summer Academy 2022: Virtual March 9 Did you know that students in Humble ISD have the opportunity to earn both original high school credit and college credit during the summer? This allows students to free up their schedule during the school year to take other courses they may be interested in.
