IN THE SPOTLIGHT Neville Miller, 79, has found a new passion building Meccano models of cars, boats, helicopters, motorbikes, tractors, fire engines and many more designs. Neville masters every design he puts his hands to. He said his favourites to date being the helicopter, tractor and fire engine. There is a prime spot on his display shelf for the new and improved larger helicopter which he is currently working on. Well done Neville, they are all equally amazing! Indigo North Health Page 5

Product Birthday Spotlight: The Telephone
In February 1876, Alexander Graham Bell applied for a patent on his telephone apparatus, the
―speaking telegraph,‖ less than three hours before Elisha Gray filed a caveat at the Patent Office for
a similar device. After a long legal battle, the United States Supreme Court eventually upheld Bell’s
patent, leaving him the official inventor of the telephone.

The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls 000. ―I think my friend is dead!‖ he yells. ―What can I do?‖ The operator says, ―Calm down. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.‖ There’s a silence, then a shot. Back on the phone, the guy says, ―OK, now what?‖ Tempting fate In surgery for a heart attack, a middle-aged woman has a vision of God by her bedside. ―Will I die?‖ she asks. God says, ―No. You have 30 more years to live.‖ With 30 years to look forward to, she decides to make the best of it. Since she’s in the hospital, she gets breast implants, liposuction, a tummy tuck, hair transplants, and collagen injections in her lips. She looks great! The day she’s discharged, she exits the hospital with a swagger, crosses the street, and is immediately hit by an ambulance and killed. Up in heaven, she sees God. ―You said I had 30 more years to live,‖ she complains. ―That’s true,‖ says God. ―So what happened?‖ she asks. God shrugs. ―I didn’t recognize you.‖ One Liners’ Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana. It’s hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.
