Enjoy sightsee- ing of Morelia’s colonial architecture and art, enjoy a group meal,and prepare for an adventure-packed week. DAY 2 - MONDAY 2/28 | PÁTZCUARO Fall in love with local artisans en route to the beautiful Hotel Boutique Casa Leal. Spend your day exploring the plaza and streets in the colonial gem of Pátzcuaro. Enjoy lunch at the award winning restaurant of Blanca Villagomez. DAY 3 - TUESDAY 3/1 | PÁTZCUARO Journey to the charming village of Santa Clara del Cobre where you will enjoy a private demonstration by a family of coppersmiths. Leisure through the cobbled streets lined with artisan copper shops. End your day enjoying a cocktail on the rooftop terrace overlooking panoramic views of historic Pátzcuaro.
DAY 4 - WEDNESDAY 3/2 | ZITÁCUARO Relax poolside at the quaint estate of Rancho San Cayetano, your home for three nights. Located thirty minutes outside the butterfly reserves, you will enjoy plentiful family means, play pingpong, or visit the local communi- ty featured in Humphrey Bogart’s Treasures of the Sierra Madres. DAY 5+6 - 3/3-3/4 | BUTTERFLIES! At last, with cameras ready, you will make your excursion to see the majestic butterflies. Your amazing wildlife experience begins with a horseback ride to reach the peaks of the butterfly sanctuaries. Prepare for two days of unforgetta- ble beauty within the fragile forests where millions of monarchs shelter for the winter. As you learn about the efforts to preserve the monarch, you will also get a chance to meet members of the community invested in improv- ing the health of families through the use of ECOLIFE’s programs.
DAY 7 - SATURDAY, 3/5| MORELIA Return to Morelia, and enjoy your last night at Hotel de la Soledad, located one block from the magnificent Morelia Cathedral - an iconic building that cannot be missed with its dynamic architectural styles and rare 16th-century artwork DAY 8 - SUNDAY, 3/6 | HOME Adios Mexico! Wake up to canaries singing in the courtyard and spend the morning at your leisure - enjoying brunch or exploring the bustling downtown streets. The final balance is due 60 days prior to departure. SINGLES & SHARES: Travelers who would prefer a single room are subject to a fee of $700. There is a supplement cost of $700 for a single room. Does this price include airfare? Because our guests come from all different places in the nation (and world!) this cost does not include airfare. What is the deposit? The deposit for the trip is $1,500 and is counted towards your total trip cost. Your deposit is 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
