SCOIR Is a new internet-based tool that current Rockwood Summit students will use to search for colleges that fit their personal and academic interests. Creating an account- students should check their rsdmo.org email for an invite from SCOIR. They can invite parent(s) after they have created a profile. YouScience-personal inventories designed to help students direct their college and career search. Look for it under My Profile: Career Profile. Information sessions available at parent Sign up to meet with colleges-juniors and teacher conferences: seniors use this to sign up to meet with reps 6:30-7p.m. in the library that visit RSHS. College and Career Office The College Fair is a joint venture between Rockwood and Parkway. This year it is Monday, Sept. 16, 6:00-8:00 at Queeny Park. Register at strivefair.com. · ASVAB will be here on Monday, Nov 12. Sign up with Mrs. Tucci in guidance
11th Grade Practice ACT • All juniors will take a PRACTICE ACT on September 12, 2019 at RSHS (early release day) • Students will receive scores and have the option to receive feedback during Flex time in October.
ACT Prep John Baylor Test Prep- online program with after school instruction. 9/10-10/24 one hour after school Tues/Thurs $110-125 (spring dates tbd) academy.ACT.org- FREE practice and tips ZAPS- one day prep course $95. 5 hours instruction and the rest is practice tests 10/12/19 and 2/15/20 9a.m.-3p.m. Learning Express Library- FREE online instruction with practice questions offering helpful feedback http://www.rsdmo.org/rsummit/offices/college/Pages/ACT-and-SAT-Exams.aspx

Attendance Expectations Attendance Policy ● Students are expected to be on time and present for each class. Odds and Ends Jr Ring Ceremony: Sept 5 at 7:15 am in the Theater Lunch reminder: Students are NOT allowed to order food and have it delivered to school. Parents may drop off lunches.
