We want to build a relationship with all clubs and create a plan that best meets your needs to deliver a high quality experience for your First Kicks players Junior Framework and the ‘Whole of Football Plan’ The Junior Framework is the first stage in the participation pathway as part of the Whole of Football Plan. It is a player’s first introduction into football. Previously there had been no coordinated approach to the development of our junior players in New Zealand. The junior framework has been designed to provide a consistent coordinated national approach to our junior game. Its main aim is to provide all junior players with high quality football experiences that increase both skill levels and the passion for playing football. Through standardized playing formats, clear outcomes and training recommendations for each stage of a players development First Kicks (5th & 6th grade), Fun Football (7th & 8th grade) and Mini Football (9th – 12th grade), we can enhance the football experience our junior players have while offering increased support to clubs and our volunteer coaches.
