COMMITTEE NEWS info@northeasterncarclub.com.au THERE WILL BE NO AGM, AGM DINNER AND CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP Due to the unprecedented consequences of COVID19 pandemic restrictions, the club committee has decided the following: 2020 Annual General Meeting - deferred to March 2021 2020 Annual General Dinner - cancelled 2020 Club Championship - no awards will presented due to the lack of activity ALBURY WODONGA & DISTRICT CAR CLUB SPRINT EVENTS Any NECC members interested in running in AWDCC sprint events (particularly at the Barnawartha Logic Track) will now have an opportunity to do so. As AWDCC sprint events are closed to members, you essentially have to be a AWDCC member to participate. NECC Members who are interested are invited to join the AWDCC ($55 for Senior Membership) and receive notification and invitation to their sprint events. If there are enough NECC member interested in doing this, ( say 6 or more ) then lap times can be taken off the AWDCC scoring and NECC championship points can apply. This has come about because after many hours or work by Ron Woodward to organise sprint events we fall short of numbers and the event gets cancelled. We are aware there are NECC members that are interested in running in these type of events, so having a dual membership gives you the opportunity to run in AWDCC sprint events. This has been discussed at committee and to go ahead with this we will need to know how many NECC members are interested in taking up the dual membership. If you are Interested please contact John Bell at jayceeebee@bigpond.com or Phone or Text 0400 863 334. the Good Oil 3
