Pravets Golf Club have the great pleasure to
welcome you to participate in the 2020
European Team Shield Championship.
Pravets Golf & SPA Resort is located just 50 km away from the Sofia Airport - easily accessible
with a 45 minute drive on the Hemus highway, yet distant enough from the daily stress of the
big city. The 242 luxury rooms in the RIU Pravets Resort hotel, three fine restaurants, a SPA
area of more than 3 000 sq.m, a modern fitness centre, an indoor and an outdoor swimming
pool provide a unique experience for the guests of the resort.
Pravets Golf Club, offers a Peter Harradine designed 18-hole, par 72, Championship golf
course and a state-of-the-art golf academy with an extensive practice area. This parkland-
style golf course boasts spectacular views of the local mountains and lake, framed by the
impressive RIU Pravets Resort hotel. The par-three eighth hole is the signature hole with
its challenging island green. The 9th and the 18th greens are joined in one double green, a
well-known feature from the Old Course in St Andrews. The driving range offers a unique
experience with its special lighting for dawn or night golfing.

TEAM FEE
There is a team fee of 500 EUR - 4 players and the captain/advisor, covering tournament costs
such as:
range balls, welcome party and closing dinner, tournament days lunch buffet, airport transport.
For any additional party member, there will be a cost of 120 EUR
Total amount for Team Expenses should be paid by bank transfer by 15 July 2020.

ACCOMMODATION
*Lake view rooms - limited availability, please book AS AP to avoid disappointments.
The package includes: buffet breakfasts and dinners in the hotel, welcome and closing diners (in
the clubhouse), buffet lunches during the tournament rounds.
PROGRAMME The Team Captains must register their team (with up to date handicap) at the Tournament office at the Clubhouse not later than 12:00 on Tuesday 28 July. All details concerning the Championship will be given at registration. Each player will be given a folder with all the championship information. Practice rounds will only be allowed on the official practice day.
USEFUL INFORMATION
• The official practice day is Tuesday 28 July. Each team will receive the draw for
the practice round ahead of the event.
• Medical service will be provided during the whole championship.
• Golf bags can be stored at the golf club storage facility.
• The changing rooms are situated in the Clubhouse.
• The dress code for Opening and Closing Ceremonies is the official team uniform.
• Pull trolleys are availbale.
• Driving Range will open one hour prior to the first starting time and will close 1 hour
after the last group has finished their round.
• The Mail Boxes will be located at the Clubhouse. All Captains are asked to check
them regularly for important information.
• Hotel Spa - Massage can be booked in advance or upon arrival.
• Restaurant facilities are available at the Clubhouse.
• Payment of expenses at the hotel and golf club can be made by credit card.
• Caddies; No caddies are permitted except for fellow team players (Terms of Competition)
