Amateur Playing Experience THE BMW CHARITY PRO-AM PRESENTED BY SYNNEX CORPORATION is the only tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour where amateurs and celebrities are paired with Korn Ferry Tour professionals in a three-day better ball competition over two courses. The week begins with three days of unlimited practice rounds followed by two tournament rounds with your Korn Ferry Tour professional partner and the chance to advance to Saturday’s final round. In addition to golf you’ll enjoy access to exclusive events and perks at the tournament courses only offered to our amateur contestants. Don’t miss the chance to be part of one of the most unique tournaments in the world! PACKAGE PRICE $6,500 2021 TOURNAMENT FORMAT 160 amateurs will be playing in the event, including celebrities. There will be two divisions for the amateur guests, X3 for lower handicaps and X5 for higher handicaps. The celebrities will also have two divisions, X4 for lower handicaps and X6 for higher handicaps. Six amateurs from the X3 and six from the X5 division will advance to play on Saturday at Thornblade Club. Two celebrities from each division will advance to play on Saturday as well. The final round will be on Sunday at at Thornblade Club for Korn Ferry Tour Professionals only. Two course rotation with a morning and an afternoon wave at each course. Featured Charities Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute is a nationally recognized cancer treatment and research facility. Gibbs Cancer Center is a proven leader in providing effective cancer treatment through advancedtechnology, professional expertise and an exceptional level of personalized care. Gibbs Cancer Center locations include Greer, Spartanburg, Gaffney and Union, and it is affiliated with the Upstate Carolina National Cancer Institute Oncology Research Program (NCORP). In 2020, a 191,000-square- foot expansion of Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute at Pelham opened, which brings advanced cancer care and clinicaltrialsto more people inthe Upstate. Roper Mountain Science Center, the most unique organization in the Upstate focused on science education, is exceptionally positioned as a public-private partnership (with Greenville County Schools) to: deliver curriculum-based, hands-on learning for students, offer inspiring “edutainment” for the public and produce state-of-the-art training for teachers. The Meyer Center for Special Children is a nonprofit that empowers children with disabilities to reach their maximum potential. Our unique approach integrates early childhood education with intensive therapies, bridging the gap between students with disabilities and their typical peers. The Meyer Center serves children (ages 0-7 years) with varying disabilities such as cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, autism and rare genetic conditions. Nine multi-categorical classrooms (serving 95 students) provide an enriching educational setting for students to learn while simultaneously receiving intensive speech, physical and occupational therapies. This early intervention is key in determining our students’ long-term success in life. We believe that in the right environment, every child can succeed. The Cancer Society of Greenville County’s mission is to create new hope and improve the quality of life for local cancer patients and their families. Since 1965, we have provided free of charge programs, services, education, assistance and support to meet the changing medical, financial, emotional and educational needs of cancer patients and their families in Greenville County. We are not affiliated with the American Cancer Society and all of our funds are spent locally. We serve over 4,000 cancer patients here at home eachyear. Cliffs Resident Outreach (CRO) is a 501(c)3 non profit. We are a 100% volunteer organization that is comprised of volunteers from the 5 South Carolina Cliffs communities. We work with children in poverty in the Upstate and we focus on nutrition, mentoring, literacy and technology. We are involved with 2 early childhood centers, 7 elementary schools, 3 Middle Schools, 3 High Schools and several other organizations working with children. We operate in Greenville, Pickens and Oconee counties. We are dedicatedto enabling Upstate Childrento succeed. Our message is ‘Kids Come First”. Mobile Meals of Spartanburg glorifies God by providing nutritious meals, services, and fellowship to the frail and homebound citizens in Spartanburg County. Mobile Meals provides 1,200 seniors a nutritious meal each weekday using 130 volunteers to deliver the meal to their home. Wellness checks are provided by volunteers and staff. Mobile Meals is much more than a meal. We provide nourishment for the mind, body and soul. Mobile Meals delivers love, compassion and hopetothose in need.
