Kathy Elliott, Treasurer Did you know??? The Treasurer’s Office serves the Township in many different functions, it’s main duty is tax collection. By doing this, water will not continuously run if a pipe bursts. • Winterize your pipes: Focus on your outside hose bibs, sprinkler system, and pipes on the outside walls of your home. Drain the water from pipes and add insulation or heat tape. • Crawl Spaces: Insulate your crawl space and add insulation or heat tape to water pipes. • Set Thermostats: Set your thermostat to 55o F. This, in addition to keeping cabinet doors open, will keep pipes warm enough. • Have someone check on your home: Ask a trusted person to keep watch on your home to check for potential problems.
