Education
TARA ROSENWINKEL
Environmental Educator/Naturalist
Family Programs, Nature Friends Camp
& Nature Buddies Camp
Tara oversees the education department and
enjoys creating programs to connect people to
the outdoors. She has a love for nature, animals
and working with the public. In her free time,
she enjoys outdoor activities, naps, and trying
new foods.
BRENDA GEORGE
Environmental Educator
Family Programs, Junior Explorers,
& Forest Explorers Mini Camp
Brenda has been a part of the Lake
Katherine team for over 15 years!
She loves sharing her knowledge
and love of nature with kids. Seeing
the excitement in their eyes when
they discover something new is the
best part of her job!

Education
EMILY KING
Environmental Educator/Volunteer Coordinator
Little Explorers & Nature Tots
Emily loves being able to connect families to
nature and the outdoors. She has a bachelor's
degree in Environmental Studies from the
University of Vermont and believes strongly in the
importance of sustainability. When she's not at
work, she enjoys cooking dinner for friends and
hanging out with her pet rabbit.
ZOEY GEORGE
Camp Counselor
Nature Sprouts Camp
Zoey has been coming to Lake
Katherine since she was born. She
has always had a huge passion for
the environment and children. She
is currently in college majoring in
Elementary Education.

muddy! Celebrate National Mud
Day with us by creating mud pies
from items found on a hike.

Learn the parts of an insect,
hike outdoors with nets and
look up close at these mini
beasts.
Flower Power
Tom Sawyer Fishing August 11
June 9, July 21, & August 4 Learn about the power of flowers
Drop a line in this classic Tom and a fun way to transfer the
Sawyer style fishing. Find out which colors of plants onto fabric.

Walk in the Waterfall Cooking With Herbs

Make a splash while investigating Discover our herb garden and
