Relationships • Check in with your teacher daily. • Complete the activities or opportunities that allow you to connect with the teacher and your peers over the week. We will work with our partners, your parents, to support your education by: • Contacting parents weekly by phone to discuss how you are going in your remote learning; • Providing Parent How to Booklets/Videos for accessing the virtual learning space; Accessing TEAMs and OneNote - parent booklet Remote Learning with Microsoft TEAMs How to for Students: Remote Learning with See Saw • Where work is unable to be provided in the virtual space, making it available for hard copy collection fortnightly.
Learning Design • Read or listen to what it is the teacher wants you to learn and why they want you to learn this. • Assessments need to be completed on your own, so your teacher knows how to plan for further teaching and learning. • Any work that is not able to be accessed online is available for collection at the school office every fortnight. • Read or listen to the feedback that the teacher or your parent may provide.
Engagement • Teachers will be available for children to outline the day and ask questions at: K-2 8:45am & 1:30pm Y3-6 8:30am & 1:30pm • Teachers will respond to all other parent queries within 24 hours. • Students participate at any time of the day. • Teachers will mark you as present for the day. • The teachers provide activities and opportunities for you to share your strengths, gifts and talents. Your voice is important to us. Complete these to help us plan for further learning.
Instructional Range • Watch your teachers model and teach. • Complete the activities together with your teacher or parent. • Education Assistants are also available to classes to support the remote learning. • Complete the activities with other students. • Complete the activities on your own. • We know waiting for a response may be difficult but please remember it is important for you to experience some discomfort and risk taking in your learning for you to learn and build resilience.
