Sec: The number given to differentiate courses with the same subject and course number taught in different formats. Ex: Teleconference, Face-to-Face, Online, etc. What if I want more information Course Title: In addition to the course title, you might see *BLENDED which means the class meets about what the course? once a week in person and other assignments will be done independently and submitted online. You can read the course description in the College Catalog Credit: The number of credits you’ll earn for successfully completing this course. As a general available at www.ilisagvik.edu or guideline, 3 hours is approximately 135 hours of work (in class and/or as homework). the Registrar’s Department. Start Date and End Date: Most classes at Iḷisaġvik College will be 15 weeks long but some are shorter so make sure to set a reminder for classes you register for with a later start date. Bldg/Room: Make sure to check out the map before classes start and plan your transportation ahead of time. Call 907-855-0583 for information about the College Van. Availability: TC: Teleconference – students will be participating by phone; the instructor will give you a phone number to call-in at the start of class. OL: Online – students will be receive and submit assignments online; students will need to have reliable access to the internet. SS: Screen-sharing – students will be expected to be online during class time where they will be watching the instructor’s computer screen VTC: Video Teleconference – students will go to a place with video conferencing equipment and will interact live with their class throughout the course UTQ: Utqiaġvik – Students are expected to be physically in the classroom in Utqiaġvik (Barrow). ANC: Anchorage – Students are expected to be physically in the classroom in Anchorage. Max Enrollment: This is the maximum number of students who can register for the class so register early to reserve your spot.
