.-- - s a g a- ----- -- - - - - -- --- -- -x Daycamp a story of epic adventure. is for campers who have completed grades 1-7. Every week there is a different fun theme for in person program and online content. Saga includes games, crafts, bible lessons, snacks, outdoor activities, sports, and more. Saga is a fun and safe environment where kids can belong, grow, and build lots of friendships. This year in person camp is going to be mostly outdoors to make sure all campers are safe and can be free to have fun. Saga Cohorts For our In-person campers, we’re going to be running separate cohorts, outdoors, for each grade to keep our campers safe and minimize the risk of transmission of Covid-19. Each cohort will have dedicated rooms, equipment, staff and volunteers to ensure safety and to form strong relationships between campers, volunteers and staff.
Online Camp Is available for all campers for FREE, and you don’t even have to fill out a registration form! Go to camp.clarksonchurch.ca to find activities, crafts, bible lessons and more. Post your own contributions to engage in camp with everyone else! DROP OFF AND PICK UP All campers must be signed in and out of camp. For the safety and security of all campers, we require those who have permission to sign your child out to have a photo ID in order to pick up the camper. If your child is not picked up from camp by 4:00 p.m., you will be charged an extra $10 per 15 minutes to cover the extra staff costs. Drop-off and pick up locations will be at Clarkson Community Church, unless otherwise communicated. Please check signage when you arrive as we keep cohorts separate. SPECIAL NEEDS If you are planning to register a child with special needs, please contact us well in advance so that we can determine whether we can provide appropriate support. ABSENCE In order to ensure your child’s safety, please let us know by calling our office at 905-855-5001 ext. 24 if they will be late or absent on any day this summer. REFUNDS AND REGISTRATIONS Please give us 2 WEEKS notice if your child will not be attending camp in order to receive a refund. Within 2 weeks of camp, no money will be refunded, although your child can transfer weeks up until 1 week before the start of camp (space permitting). New registrations will be accepted up until noon on the Thursday before the week of camp you are registering for. If a future week of camp is cancelled because of health regulations, full refunds will be given. NUT FREE All our camps strive to be nut free, so please do not include nut products in your child’s lunch. Covid - 19 Regulations We will be closely following ongoing Public Health Recommendations and Regulations. If in-person camp is cancelled we will communicate that as soon as possible and issue refunds. If anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms or may have come into contact with someone with Covid-19 please remain home and follow Public health procedures for testing.
